CHARACTER INFO
Character Name: Marty McFly
Canon (or OC): Back to the Future
Appearance: Marty McScreamsalot
Background Info:
Marty comes from the exact same world we do, give or take about 30 years. Back to the Future takes place in 1985, where rock music is all the rage and gas prices are a sight for sore eyes. Bright and obnoxious colors? Definitely in.
The only thing that makes Marty a little different than others is that he has a genius scientist friend, who so happened to discover how to travel through time. The time machine takes form of a Delorean that runs on gasoline and nuclear power. When being attacked by Libyan terrorists, Doc Brown is shot. While Marty tries to escape from being killed himself, he powers up the time circuits and accidentally travels back to the year 1955. Through the first movie, he spends majority of his time trying to make his mom fall in love with his dad rather than her own son...since he was basically erasing himself from time. Normal stuff for a teen, y'know!

One of the things Marty is noted for in the trilogy is that he's both resourceful and clever. Majority of the things that happen in Back to the Future offer no warning whatsoever; from the get-go, Marty is forced to come up with ideas in the matter of a second or two. Normally this wouldn't be such a bad thing, but most, if not all of the situations he runs into ultimately affects his future or someone else's. He uses the resources he has from the future (or the past) to save his hide; for instance, he uses popular names known in the 1980's such as 'Clint Eastwood' or 'Calvin Klein' to hide his McFly roots from others. On a more extreme note, this is also seen when standing off against Mad Dog Tannen in the third movie. Marty used an idea from A Fistfull of Dollars where he protected himself against a bullet with an iron plated door; it was something he copied the movie, used in almost the exact same situation. Marty has a good talent for coming up with things on a whim, and using whatever is handy to his advantage.
Marty is very heroic, but at the same time, equally as reckless. He's one known to jump the gun in certain situations, getting himself into a scenario that could have been avoided with some rational thinking. When his dad is being bullied by Biff Tannen in the 1950's, Marty often stands in to help, but in turn the aggression is then focused on him. In the heat of the moment he often thinks of things as quickly as one can snap their fingers, which sometimes has less than desirable results. If Marty ends up punching someone in the face out of recklessness (or for a good cause, whatever), he has to deal with being chased around on a makeshift skateboard while the person he decked is trying to run him over in a car. The actions he takes often have reactions, which he seems to sometimes forget about. Or, at least, not take heed to.
But he has good intentions at heart. Marty will sacrifice himself for his family, friends and the future. Whether he almost gets himself shot in the Wild West to save his friend, or clings to a side of a car while trying to grab a future artifact in the past, he tries whatever he can to set things right.
The one thing Marty is probably most noted for is his pride. He doesn't view himself as a coward or anything in the very least, thanks to his father constantly being one. If anyone calls him something as small as a 'chicken', Marty will grow angry and defensive, willing to do anything to protect his name, no matter how stupid. This almost always gets him into trouble: when challenged to a race and being called a chicken for downturning it, he gets into a serious wreck that ends his future as a rockstar, and any possible chance at playing guitar in general. Being called 'yellow' almost killed him in the third movie, shown when his name appears on a tombstone in a picture from the future. Marty eventually learns to let these insults flow aside, but it's a very difficult thing for him to accomplish.
Marty is incredibly loyal to his friends and family. Both doesn't have a very good reputation in Hill Valley at the beginning of the trilogy; his dad is a walking doormat, his mother is an alcoholic. Doc Brown is seen as a crazy scientist, who you'd best stay away from. Some people aren't afraid to voice their opinions, but Marty will give his own two cents on the matter. No matter what they're being put through, Marty will always stand beside the people he cares about until the bitter end!
One unique thing about Marty is that he runs a lot on emotions and isn't afraid to show it. If someone is getting bullied, he will get angry and stand up for them at once, rather than taking a moment and thinking things through before taking action. Instead of letting some emotions like fear and anxiety hold him back, he seems to use them as a fuel. This can be seen well when Doc is having problems setting up the wiring system on the night of the storm. Marty wastes no time in standing around and panicking; while it's obvious that he's distressed, he tries to help as much as he can until he's sent away. In regards to showing anger, he often stands up to others who pick on either himself or someone he cares about, which can get him into trouble sometimes.

Marty has absolutely no powers whatsoever; kind of uneventful, if you think about it! However, he is very talented at singing and playing the guitar. In the movies, he's the lead in a band he called The Pinheads and aims to be a rich, well-known rockstar. He can improvise easily, and likes being Too Darn Loud.
He's also good at skateboarding! He has no problems going at higher speeds, and even clings to the backs of cars to help. It's his main source of transportation at the beginning, only taking his father's truck when need be. In Back to the Future canon, Marty actually invented the skateboard in 1955 during a car chase.

I can see Option 1 being more suiting! If Marty were to get a letter in the mail about Stands and the Moon, he would probably think it's a pile of shit and just end up throwing the letter away. There wouldn't really be a reason for him to think that it was a legitimate letter, and that agreeing to it would take him to the next destination.
Marty's had a bunch of weird shit happen to him during the span of these movies, but an alien abduction will certainly be new! He will do the usual: run and scream. He doesn't really have any powers, nor would he turn around and take an alien ship head-on in an attempt to bring it down in some way. Marty would retreat in any way he can, whether it be by skateboard or car.

STAND INFO
Stand name: Bad Girl's Dream - lyrics from The Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News!
Stand power:
Bad Girl's Dream is a humanoid Stand, using vibrations caused by sound and frequencies as its power. It takes advantage of how much sound the opponent can take, either using to cause discomfort or disorientation. It can cause a few problems when the battles are close up and personal, but there's hardly any effect at all from a long distance. Just like sound, it grows weaker and harder to hear the farther away you are! Bad Girl's Dream also wields a guitar, to show Marty's passion for music.
If worse comes to worse, it can also use the guitar as a weapon, but only in the most dire of situations. Like, dire dire.
In the first Back to the Future movie, Marty tries to audition for a Battle of the Bands competition, but is told by the judges that he's too loud. One way that the Stand can make itself known without him truly knowing is by having his music, well...too darn loud! Whether he's plugged into an arp or not, the music he causes will be a disruption and an ear sore to everybody around him. He won't get it; maybe they just don't have a good taste in music!

Stand appearance:
Bad Girl's Dream has a humanoid appearance, with a guitar that it always keeps on its person. It's not exactly bulky at all, and maybe it's a little on the short side. Compared to other Stands it might be a little disappointing, but its power comes from the instrument. Bad Girl's Dream has an obnoxious red skin hue, and pulls off the whole '80's rocker' look perfectly.

These probably aren't the best since Marty's been tossed in a horror game, but I'm always game for writing an example if need be!
